This is a performance of great resource, variety of nuance and authority, which I cannot imagine being bettered by a French pianist…altogether a splendid CD.
Margaret Fingerhut plays it all with an imperious technique and displays tremendous involvement throughout – a magnificent achievement.
This CD is a gem. This is piano playing on a grand scale, demonstrating excellent command of the material.
Margaret Fingerhut's disc cuts a very fine figure in a discography of the highest quality.
